Introduction to Mobile View
- Refer Navigate Mobile View to access the Mobile View.
- To ensure
your dashboard is displayed correctly in the RubiSight Mobile Application, you need to configure the Mobile View.
- Charts can
be organized in any desired layout, independent of the layout
configuration defined in the Edit mode/Desktop View of the dashboard. This
allows flexibility in how charts are presented, ensuring the best possible
visual experience based on your needs.
- This page
is divided into three main sections:
- Chart picker panel (Right Side Panel)
- Canvas (Middle Panel)
- Formatter Panel (Left Side Panel)
Refer below image:

Chart Picker Pane (Right
Panel)
- Chart Picker Pane is available on the right side of Mobile View screen.
- Displays all chart widgets available on the
respective page, as configured in the Desktop View, along with their
corresponding formatting.
- The charts are arranged vertically (one below
the other) and fitted into predefined, uniform sizes for all chart types.
Therefore, the layout sizes may differ from those in the Desktop View.
- The sequence or order of chart display may
differ from that in the Desktop View.
- The search bar in this pane allows users to find
a specific chart based on the widget name defined at the Desktop View level.
Mobile View Canvas (Middle Panel)
- This is the working area where
you can place and arrange the charts for the mobile layout.

widgets to configure your page layout for mobile view.
- The configured layout will be visible in the Mobile
Application for the respective page.

widgets get added to the chart picker pane and make them available for further
configuration.

3. Formatter Pane (Left Panel)
This is the pane for chart format configuration and
accessing widget list options.
Formatter
Pane:
Displays Format and Widget List options as in Desktop View.
Format:
- This option is specific to an individual chart and
appears when you click the chart in the Mobile Canvas area.
- It displays all available formatting options for
the selected chart within the Mobile View Canvas.
- Note that only selected formatters from the Desktop
View are available for chart formatting in Mobile View.
- The formatting applied in the Desktop View is
carried over to the Mobile View for the same chart. It can then be further
customized using the available Mobile View formatting options. When a chart is
initially added to the Mobile View Canvas, it inherits the formatting saved in
the Desktop View, which is also reflected in the chart picker pane for that
chart.
- If a chart is removed or cleared from the Mobile
View Canvas, any formatting changes made in Mobile View are discarded, and the
chart reverts to its original Desktop View formatting.
- For
configured charts in Mobile View, the updates in the formatting from the Desktop
View will not impact and retains same formatting.
- Once you
have configured the chart in the Mobile View Canvas, the updates in the chart formatting
from the Desktop View if not affecting the chart formatting in the Mobile View
Canvas and retains same formatting.
- Chart
removal from Desktop View will remove the chart from the mobile view canvas
pane.

the list of charts available on the respective page and are the names of charts
as set in the chart formatting.
- The
sequence in the widget list decides the layer in the chart lies with the top
chart in the list appearing top of all the charts on the page and vice versa.
- The
sequence can be changed by drag and drop of chart names in the Widget list.
