Overview:
- OTP (One-Time Password) authentication allows you to sign in securely using a 6-digit OTP sent to your registered email address.
- This method does not require entering a password and provides a quick and secure login option.
Accessing the Login Page:
When you navigate to the login page, you will see the standard login screen with two authentication options:
- Password
- OTP
Steps to Log in Using OTP Authentication:
1. Select the OTP Option
- On the login screen, choose the "OTP" radio button.
- The Password field is removed, and the interface displays only the email input box and the Send OTP button.
2. Enter Your Registered Email Address
- Type your registered email ID in the email input field.
- Click the “Send OTP” button.
3. OTP Sent Notification
- Once you click “Send OTP,” the system sends a 6-digit OTP to your registered email address.
- A message appears on the screen indicating that the OTP has been sent.
- A countdown timer (2 minutes) begins, showing how long you must wait before requesting a new OTP.
4. Enter the OTP
- Check your email inbox for the 6-digit OTP.
- Enter the OTP into the six input boxes displayed on the screen.
5. Click Sign In
- After entering the correct OTP, click the “Sign In” button.
- You will be logged into the application.
Additional Notes:
- The OTP is valid only for the current login attempt.
- If the OTP email is not received within 2 minutes, click the “Resend OTP” option.
- Ensure your registered email address is active and accessible during login.
- If an incorrect OTP is entered, the system will prompt you to re-enter it.
- OTP authentication is available for both new and existing users with registered email IDs.
