RubiSight Mobile Application- Prerequisites and Installation

🧭 1. Overview

The Rubiscape Mobile Application enables users to access RubiSight dashboards, analytics, and insights directly from their mobile devices.
It provides a secure and convenient way to view data, monitor KPIs, and receive notifications on the go.

This guide explains how to install and update the Rubiscape Mobile App on your Android device.


📲 2. Prerequisites

Before installing, ensure that:

  • Your device runs Android 8.0 (Oreo) or higher.
  • You have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or Mobile Data).
  • You have access to the Google Play Store.
  • (If required by your organization) You have valid Rubiscape user credentials.


🧩 3. Installation Steps

Option 1: Install from Google Play Store

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. In the search bar, type “RubiSight Mobile Application”.
  3. Tap on the app titled Rubiscape Mobile by Rubiscape Pvt. Ltd.
  4. Tap Install.
  5. Wait for the installation to complete.
  6. Once installed, tap Open to launch the app.


Option 2: Install via Shared Link (Enterprise Deployment)

If your organization provides a direct Play Store link or internal distribution link:

  1. Tap the link received via email or internal portal.
  2. It will open the app’s Play Store page.
  3. Tap Install and follow the same steps as above.

 

🔄 4. Updating the Application

Automatic Updates (Recommended)

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Manage apps & device.
  3. Locate Rubisight Mobile Application in the list.
  4. Ensure that Auto-update is enabled.
    • If not, tap the app → tap More (⋮) → check Enable auto-update.

When a new version is released, it will update automatically when you’re connected to Wi-Fi.


Manual Update

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Manage apps & device → Updates available.
  3. Locate Rubisight Mobile Application.
  4. Tap Update.
  5. Wait for the installation to complete.


5. Version Verification

To check your app version:
You can check from your Mobile Apps Info.
If you are a user logged into the RubiSight Mobile Application with the valid credentials, follow below steps to check the application version at the application level.

  1. Open Rubisight Mobile Application.
  2. Navigate to Profile Option Icon to open the left side pane.
  3. Check on the lower side of the panel for Build Version.

Launch Screen Overview

  1. Locate the RubiSight  Mobile Application app icon  A white and orange circle with a clock in the center AI-generated content may be incorrect. on mobile home screen/app drawer or serach for RubiSight Mobile Application in your applications.
  2. Double Tap the icon to open the application.
  3. You’ll be greeted with the following Onboarding screens:

  1. Click  button to navigate to Next screen or Click Skip option to skip the onboarding flow.
  2. Skipping the Onboarding flow or clicking next to Screen 3 will navigate user to below screen with options- Login with Server and Try Demo Mode.
  3. Note that these Onboarding screens will be visible when the Rubisight Mobile Application is installed fresh and accessed first time. Otherwise, user will navigate to below screen.

This screen allows you to choose how you’d like to access the app. Chose to proceed with any of these options to access the application.
