The Data Alerts option is available within the Dashboard
Schedule configuration. It allows users to receive automated alerts based
on predefined conditions.
When
a configured condition is met, an email notification is sent to the
specified recipient email addresses.
The
data is evaluated against the alert condition according to the dashboard’s
scheduled frequency.
If
the condition is satisfied during the scheduled run, the system triggers
an email alert to notify the recipients.
If
the condition is not met, the mail notification is not triggered.
The ‘Alert’ option is available
in the Schedule Details.
To configure the Data Alerts, follow the below steps:
2. Click checkbox beside Alerts to enable Data
Alerts configuration. This will add 3rd configuration – ‘Alert’ in
the right side pane of schedule modal as highlighted in the above figure.
3. Fill the Email details.
4. Click Next
5. Fill the details for Message & Attachments.
6. Click Next
7. Alert configuration page is displayed.
8. Configure Data Alert as below:
Option 1: Enter Alert Name
Option 2: Select column dropdown shows Measure columns from
all available dataset in the dashboard. Select column.
Option 3: Gear icon shows the aggregation options- Sum,
Count, Count Distinct, Maximum, Minimum, Average, None. Select any of the
aggregate options.
Option 4: Select the operator from the available operators.
Option 5: Inbox to add value.
Option 6: The toggle option to set the alert Active or Inactive.
Option 7: Delete icon to Delete the Alert.
Option 8: Add Alert -button to add another alert.
9. Click Save button.
10. As per scheduled frequency, the data is verified
for the condition- Births (sum) Is Greater Than -300
11. If the data condition is satisfied then mail
notification is sent to the recipients with Data Alert condition details.

Notes:

Any number of Alerts can be added on any
column and with any aggregation.
·
When Alert configuration is enabled, then the
mail notification is only triggered when condition is satisfied.
·
The mail notification only mentions the Alert
details with met Data Alert conditions.
·
PPT/PDF is also sent in the mail as per
configuration in the Dashboard schedule.
