labels for using general formatting options for the charts. Along with
these options, Pie and Donut charts are provided with additional formatting
options.
The below options are available with their respective formatting options-

1. Connector
Length: The connector length refers to the distance between the data labels and
the outer edge (radius) of the Pie or Donut chart, as applicable. Input box is
available to set the connector length in number. Default is 10 and Maximum is
set as 100. More the value, more is the distance of the data labels displayed
from the outer edge and vice versa. The value entered as negative is also
accepted, showing data labels inside pie/donut chart.
2. Value: This option refers to the aggregated
value for the measure configuration. The option is provided with Checkbox and
other Number Style formatting options like- Decimal Places, Display Unit,
Number Format, Prefix/Suffix, Orientation and Position. The checkbox is set enabled
by default showing the value data label by default on the chart for the
available legend categories.
3. Percentage: This option refers to the Percentage
share of the respective category out of all the aggregated value plotted on the
chart. This option is provided with checkbox to enable or disable the
percentage value in the data labels. This option is provided with additional
formatting option of Decimal Places to set the decimal places in the Percentage
Value.
4. Category: This option refers to the Categorical
values plotted on the chart as per the legend configuration. This option is set
enabled by default and can be enabled/disabled as per requirements.
Below is the Pie chart showing the respective
configuration changes as configured in Figure 1.

As in Figure 2, all the formatting options for data labels are displayed on
chart as per the configuration.
These formatting options can be set enabled/disabled in any combinations or
with none of them.
The connector Length option configured with negative value and with Category
and Percentage shows the changes on the chart – adding data labels inside the
Pie and shows the category and percentage values.
