Highlight- Hide Values Support

The option Hide Values, is available to configure highlighting with or without showing data values.

This option is available in Highlight configuration for Table, Sparkline and Cross Table.

  • When data values are hidden, the Style Icon is shown or hidden based on whether the defined highlight condition is met, if configured
  • This option enables user to use Style Icons without values.

The Hide Values configuration is configured using the checkbox option. Enable the checkbox to Hide Values in the Highlighted cells and vice versa.

 

For Cross Table the highlight configuration done as below:

The chart show the highlighted values as:

 

After configuring Hide Values to hide values in the highlighted cell , as below:

All 3 conditions in above Cross Table are configured with Hide Values and hence the respective cross table is displayed as below:

Only style icons are displayed with the other formatting- background color. The background color is also set with default formatting using- Retain Table Style option.

If this configuration is set enabled, the chart shows the plotted data as below, showing only style icons for the highlighted cells:

These Hide Values and Retain Table Style is supported for Table, sparkline, Cross Table Charts.
