Using Save As Option
After creating a data dictionary, you can make a copy of it with a different name using the Save As option. For creating a data dictionary, refer to Creating New Data Dictionary.
To use Save As option, follow the steps given below.
- Open the data dictionary you want to make a copy of.
To open the existing data dictionary, refer to Editing Data Dictionary. - Click the Save As icon (
) on the top right corner of the Data Dictionary page.
Data Dictionary Save As page is displayed. - Enter the Name and Description for the data dictionary.
- Click Save.
A copy of the data dictionary is saved with a new name, and a confirmation message is displayed.
This data dictionary is displayed on the Home page under Datasets like all other datasets.
